A smart and fun decision-making workshop with Stormz (https://stormz.me/templates/100budgetgame). Add your own options and ask people to spend a virtual $100 budget on the options they like the most. The following activities are part of dance and theatre therapy methods and they are intended to explore body movements and create connections within the group.
I Notice, I Wonder, It Reminds Me of... is a structure and practice for honing observational skills and practicing active listening and appreciative inquiry. It's a thinking routine that can encourage deeper observations and connections. Participants are encouraged to develop curiosity and engage with their environment.
Best Possible Self is a reflective visualization and journaling exercise coming from positive psychology that puts in the spotlight participants' positive orientation towards themselves and their best characteristics.
It invites participants to imagine themselves in the future, living their most fulfilling and meaningful life; a life aligned with their values, strengths, and passions.
This activity helps boost optimism, motivation, positive perspective towards self and clarity on values.
It is great in the context of personal development, coaching, goal-setting, personal strengths or wellbeing workshops, as it encourages participants to make a vivid and inspiring picture of their ideal self and to consider what daily actions might help bring that vision closer to reality.
It can be followed by e.g. step-by-step plan towards that future, or goal-setting exercise.
A quick, simple, and powerful reflective exercise to help participants identify activities that spark positive feelings in their daily lives. It is great for those who would like to have more positive emotions, but also more well-being, or energy.
A collaborative prioritization framework where teams apply the RICE scoring model (Reach, Impact, Confidence, Effort) to evaluate and rank ideas, projects, or initiatives.
This creative method invites participants to bring a possible future to life by designing or imagining a tangible object from that world. In the same way that we have historical artefacts from the past, this exercise is all about creating a tangible “artefact from the future.” It’s a way to make abstract scenarios feel real, prompting empathy, engagement, and grounded conversation.
Artefacts from the future can be run in a 2D or 3D approach.
When adopting the 3D approach, this method shifts participants into a making mindset. This engages their analytical thinking as well as intuition, improvisation, and embodied creativity. This helps surface insights that might not emerge through discussion or writing alone.
A fun and engaging team-building game that tests employees' knowledge about their workplace while encouraging collaboration and friendly competition.
If you are working with a team or company that already has a list of values, and are looking for a dynamic activity to refresh participants' knowledge and understanding of those values, look no further. By using embodied and spatial knowledge, this activity will make values basically unforgettable for all involved.
Empathy is a concept that many people understand in broad strokes, but it can be confusing or daunting to use empathy with others. Participants will be able to identify how empathy shows up in the body and the mind, become more familiar and comfortable with what it looks like to practice empathy, and explore a creative medium as a way of connecting and relating to others with empathy.
