You already know a lot about factors that increase and decrease people's trustworthiness. This is because ever since you were a baby, you have learned through experience who to trust and who to distrust. This activity asks you to think about six people and decide why you trust or distrust them.
A Self-Awareness, Empathy, and Non-Violent Communication Practice for Leaders and Team members
The Planets Activity is a reflective and relational practice that helps leaders map the inner landscape that drives their behaviour at work. Using a simple metaphor of three concentric circles, participants identify their core needs (NVC), the feelings that arise when these needs are met or unmet, and the observable actions they take on the “surface” as a result. By distinguishing clearly between needs, feelings, and behaviours, leaders gain a deeper understanding of their own patterns and those of others. This creates a foundation of empathy, emotional literacy, and shared language that enhances collaboration, reduces misinterpretation, and supports more human, responsible leadership.
It has been a highly acclaimed activity for every team and training session, and it is easy to deliver while having the greatest impact on the workshop or training.

By specifying only the minimum number of simple rules, the Min Specs that must ABSOLUTELY be respected, you can unleash a group to innovate freely. Respecting the Min Specs will ensure that innovations will be both purposeful and responsible.
Like the Ten Commandments, Min Specs are enabling constraints: they detail only must dos and must not dos. You will eliminate the clutter of non-essential rules, the Max Specs that get in the way of innovation. Often two to five Min Specs are sufficient to boost performance by adding more freedom AND more responsibility to the group’s understanding of what it must do to make progress. Out of their experience in the field, participants shape and adapt Min Specs together, working as one. Following the rules makes it possible for the group to go wild!
