Participants set up their virtual workspace and tech configurations based on facilitator recommendations or online guides. Next, they take photos of their workspaces and tech. Finally, they share their set up and live video in the virtual session, which could also be spun into a competition.

Sometimes it can be difficult to keep a meeting on track when people have a hard time staying focused at the right level. People can find themselves “down in the weeds” or operational details when the meeting is supposed to be strategic, or, conversely, they can find themselves being too abstract and strategic when operational detail is exactly what’s needed.

Das geht überraschend gut per Webcam und ich habe schon Gruppen richtig ausflippen sehen. Jede:r Teilnehmer:in kann eine Bewegung vormachen, dadurch lastet weniger Druck auf dem Moderator:in des virtuellen Workshops, das er die Teilnehmer „zwingt“ jetzt Sport zu machen. Durch die Bewegung werden Teilnehmer deutlich wacher, weil man in den meisten virtuellen Workshop lange Zeiten unbeweglich sitzt.

Writing with empathy is all about inhabiting the shoes (or paws) of something that is not yourself. In this exercise, we ask participants to imagine the perspective of a fox and then write from the point of view of the fox.
