Energising and Draining Activities
Track daily what energises and drains participants to reveal their strengths. Over a week, participants log the activities that lift or deplete their energy, sometimes called green and red activities, then read the pattern to surface strengths and weaknesses. Daily noticing is far more accurate than recalling it all at the end. Ideal for strengths, self-awareness and role-design work.
The Belonging Barometer
Look past whether a team gets along and ask a sharper question: can people here actually disagree and still feel safe? Rooted in the Unity with Others pathway of the Map of Meaning framework, it focuses on the quality of relationships rather than mere presence, whether people can share what matters to them without silencing it. Ideal for team retrospectives, trust-building sessions, and leadership development, wherever a team needs an honest read on belonging rather than a surface-level one.
A Meaning & Purpose Check-In: Self-Audit
This exercise gives participants a fast, visual way to check in with how meaningful and purposeful their work currently feels, across four distinct dimensions, rather than as one vague feeling. Rooted in the Map of Meaning framework, it separates the daily felt experience of work from the bigger picture it serves, and shows people where they're thriving and where something has quietly gone neglected. Ideal for individual coaching, team check-ins, wellbeing programs, and leadership development, wherever a quick but genuine pulse check on meaning is useful.
Connect the Dots
A timed estimation game that reveals why accurate estimation is so hard, and why asking the right questions matters.
Players are asked to estimate how many iterations they need to connect a given number of dots.
The task looks trivially simple, but there is hidden complexity: Time pressure, total number of dots, lines obscuring numbers. This makes it harder than anyone expects. The gap between "this is ieasy" and "it was actually hard" is the lesson.
Use it when stakeholders wonder why forecasts keep missing, or when you want to shift the conversation from "why can't you estimate better?" to "how can we change the way we work to make more accurate forecasts?"
🌐 Online A ready-to-run digital version of this game is available at https://facilitatorkit.co/connect-the-dots-online. The facilitator creates a session and shares a link — participants join in their browser and play on their own device. The game generates burndown charts automatically after each round.
Guided Journaling
Guided Journaling is a tool for the bottom of the U-process and builds on a completed co-sensing phase. It cannot stand alone! It allows participants to step into a deeper level of self-reflection and is often followed by a solo experience to expand on the insights that arise.
Magische Dreiecke (remote)
