A Meaning & Purpose Check-In: Self-Audit

This exercise gives participants a fast, visual way to check in with how meaningful and purposeful their work currently feels, across four distinct dimensions, rather than as one vague feeling. Rooted in the Map of Meaning framework, it separates the daily felt experience of work from the bigger picture it serves, and shows people where they're thriving and where something has quietly gone neglected. Ideal for individual coaching, team check-ins, wellbeing programs, and leadership development, wherever a quick but genuine pulse check on meaning is useful.

Gratitude Poncho

Participants create a paper poncho and write anonymous messages of appreciation on each other’s backs. It’s a fun and surprisingly powerful way to close a workshop with smiles, connection, and a lasting memory.

Spiral Journal

In Spiral Journal, participants reflect calmly on challenges or opportunities by drawing a spiral and responding to four open-ended prompts. This structure focuses thoughts and unleashes creative ideas, creating a comfortable space for quieter people to contribute.

When shared, these responses reveal patterns and potential new directions for our work. Spiral Journal enacts LS Principle #5, Practice Self-Discovery Within a Group.

Guided Journaling

Guided Journaling is a tool for the bottom of the U-process and builds on a completed co-sensing phase. It cannot stand alone! It allows participants to step into a deeper level of self-reflection and is often followed by a solo experience to expand on the insights that arise.
