Ten True Statements about creativity
Time: 5-10 minutes
(15-30 minutes) Write down 10 true statements about your creativity in your Creativity Notebook. These can be anything: ‘I feel the most creative when I’m dancing.’ ‘My desk needs to be messy/tidy for me to feel like I can be creative.’
EXTRA CREDIT: If you get even the slightest whiff of an 'aha!' moment, add a second layer sentence to your Noticing Wall (the back page of your Creativity Notebook). Noticing Wall Statements look like anything from, 'Huh, I never thought of it that way!' to 'Wow, I guess I really do need a messy desk to feel creative; I wonder why.'

Container Building
Container Building is the process of creating a safe space for a group or a team by establishing both trust and ground rules for engagement.

Seeds
Seeds begin to shape what emerges during a time of silence and reflection. Seeds are small personal notations, but they hold the potential for deep change. This practice is especially useful after a process of Guided Journaling as a way of identifying what resonated most strongly from the “field of the future.”

Empathy Walk
An Empathy Walk develops your capacity to “hold space” for someone who is very different from you and establish a relationship across a significant boundary. It is adapted from the work of MIT Professor Emeritus Ed Schein, who has shaped the field of organizational culture, learning, and leadership over the past 50 years.

Hire your manager
A manager is leaving? Take this opportunity to let the team select the new one.

Limit Work-In Progress
Raise alerts to the team, to the manager, that the team (or some people in the team) is taking too much work - with the risk for their health, their balance. In this case stop and reflect, re-prioritize, assign tasks differently

Peer Consultation Set-up
This exercise will help develop 'systems intelligence' with a view to being able to influence people in the right direction and in the right way.
