To look at a problem with new lens
To identify ideas how to solve a problem from a new angle
The group is split up in smaller groups. Every group selects a celebrity and writes down characteristics of this person.
Based on this list of characteristics of the celebrity, the group answers the question how would the celebrity solve this problem.
Usual or Expected Outcomes: The participants see the issues from different sides and have more ideas in how to solve the issue
Potential pitfalls: Participants who think the concept is silly might not be able to work as well.
