To introduce the group to the topic using a light perspective.

Materials

  • A variety of small toys

Instructions

Before

Setting: A variety of toys should be on the table. At least 1.5 to 2.0 toys per participant available.

Number of participants: 26-50

Types of participants: They need to be a little playful

Time needed: 3 - 45 minutes

Pre-Work Required: Select a variety of types of toys.

Level of Difficulty to Facilitate (to be deleted during review): No specific skills required

During

1. Put out toys.

2. Ask each person to pick a toy.

3. Have the participants use the toy as a metaphor: "Use this toy to describe the issue we are working on today."
