Responding to participants' impatience and check in with the group
1. Some participants have more patience than others when it comes to listening to a boring or poorly prepared session.
2. If people are tuning out in the sessions, be honest enough to ask whether we have done a good enough job of designing the workshop so that it is interesting, fun and appeals to all participation styles.
3. Modify your facilitation style.
4. Check with the group.
