Materials

    Instructions

    Before

Setting: A room, participants and some every day objects like a stapler, lamp, pen etc.

Ideal conditions: A medium size group with creative initiatives

Type of Facilitator-Client Relationship: Facilitator introduces the activity and makes sure everyone has equal chance of speaking

    During

The objects get placed in the middle of the group and everyone has to come up with ideas of what each object could be used for next to its normal use. A stapler could be a lawn cutter for a miniature doll house for example. The more creative the better!

    After

Usual or Expected Outcomes: Funny creative ideas

Potential pitfalls: No one can come up with anything - rather unlikely though

    Background

    Alternative names: Reality-check
