The Show My Fashion activity aims to promote cross-cultural understanding and creativity by engaging learners in a Cultural Fashion Show. Clothing Descriptions

Recreation Phase
Without showing any pictures or references, learners listen to the descriptions and attempt to recreate the described clothing.
Allow learners to choose their preferred method of recreation, such as hand drawing, crafting, or using an online sketchpad, but emphasize that they cannot use a search function or trying to find an image of the garment in any way.
Fashion Show
Each group presents their recreated clothing to the entire workshop, explaining the elements they included and any challenges they faced.
Encourage learners to discuss the similarities and differences between the descriptions and the recreated clothing.

Tips for Localization

For example, rather than a learner describing a ribbon dress in general, they should think of a specific ribbon dress (one they had as a child, one they have now, one worn by someone who matters to them, etc…) and describe that dress in detail.
Emphasize the importance of respecting and valuing diverse cultural expressions.
