    PRE-WORKSHOP:
"A picture is worth a thousand words." This quote is used to say that it is often easier to show something in a picture than to describe it with words. But is it always?

Let's take this to a different level and see if you can figure out whose picture best matches their description. We'll post the results in our first session together.

    1. Have each participant send a snapshot of themselves (no other persons or animals in the picture). They should also answer three questions:
    • Where you live in the world.
    • The most exciting or memorable adventure you've ever been on.
    • A fun fact most people wouldn't know about you.
    1. Set up the pictures on jotform or miro, and overlay them over a map so users can see where participants live. Number each picture.
    2. Invite participants to guess the adventure/fun fact about the person just by their picture and where they live.
    3. Set up a card for each participant in jotform or miro, or simply attach an open spreadsheet where participants can add their guesses, matching the adventure/fun fact to the picture number.
    4. The person who has guessed the most wins.

    IN WORKSHOP:
Open the jotform or miro board and go down the list, revealing participant names as you go along. Have participants use the gestures tool to give the bets-guess "winner" an applause.

    DEBRIEF QUESTIONS:

    1. How else might this activity be useful in your virtual event? How might you modify it?
    2. What other ways can it apply to a virtual event?
    3. What is the importance of using pictures and photography in virtual events?
