This is a quick, yet powerful way to build familiarity within a group of people. Making the list can be surprisingly hard, but it often reveals things that are important to know about someone.

Goal

To get to know people in a group better by discovering some of the things that are important to them.

Materials

    Instructions

    Each participant makes a list of 10 true things about themselves. This is then discussed in pairs in which partners help each other notice patterns that reveal underlying values and things that are important to each person.
