Join our team as
Senior Product Manager

Remote | Full Time

SessionLab is the leading platform for workshop facilitation and process design. Our mission is to empower people to create change. We do that by building technology that enables better facilitation. More than 100.000 professionals are using our Software-as-a-Service product to design and deliver meaningful workshops. And they love it!

We are looking for a product manager with strong analytic and project management skills to help us improve our platform and deliver more value to our customers.

You’ll be our first dedicated product manager, working closely with our CTO, CEO, and design and development team. You will take part in researching the market, understanding our customers, uncovering new and exciting features, and make sure they get implemented in the way that gives the most value to our customers.

We are a bootstrapped and profitable software business, headquartered in Tallinn, Estonia, and working across Europe with a fully remote 10-person team (team members currently in Sweden, Hungary, Croatia, UK, Austria, Portugal, Armenia and Italy). Therefore, we are looking for somebody who is self-motivated, independent and comfortable working in a remote-first environment

What we are looking for

Advantages
(not a must but a big plus)

What will I be doing?

To give you an honest perspective of where we are now: we are in a scaling stage, we have a stable application and a steadily growing customer base – and many requests on how to improve SessionLab.

Product management was – until now – a responsibility of our co-founder and CTO. With our user base growing as well as our team, we want to transition the product manager responsibilities into a dedicated role to give our users the focus they deserve.

The ecosystem of tools to improve meetings is booming around us, and we have several exciting questions to figure out on how to position and improve our product in the future.

Your main role will be to drive the product discovery and design process, and communicate the results to the development team. This will include understanding customer needs, identifying opportunities, iterating on ideas and guide the product process so we build the right features for our customers.

You will ensure that these features are communicated to the customers, by working closely with our customer success team and marketing team. And finally close the loop by making certain that feedback is gathered so we can continue with product discovery.

Why is this great for me?

Compensation

The compensation range for this role is between €75,000 to €125,000 annually on B2B contract or matching gross salary as an employee (official employment status only available in certain countries). The actual compensation offered to a successful candidate will be based on relative experience and skills.

The compensation includes paid holiday days according to your country of residence (with minimum of 20 days) plus your local holidays as paid time off, and additional remote working stipend or home office setup support.

Application Process

An outline of what to expect from the application process.

  1. Fill in and submit the application form (including recoding a 2-3 min short video) – we will try to get back to you within 2 working days, but sometimes it might take slightly longer.
  2. A short (up to 20-minute) video call where we try to see if there is culture fit between you and SessionLab
  3. Up to two additional interviews (30-60 min) focusing more on your specific skills
  4. Top candidates will be invited for ~10h contract work, spread over a week, where you get to experience how we work and we get to see how you perform in async setup.
  5. If all goes well, we will make you an offer and if you accept, welcome you to our team!
